PBeM

Only here are the Pokémon PBeM (Play By eMail) can you raise your very own Pokémon.

Here's how it works.  You can choose up to six Pokémon to fight for you.  You can choose any Pokémon except:  The Pokémon can't be an evolved form of another Pokémon; and no Legendary Pokémon.  (Includes Snorlax, Articuno, Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Omanyte, Zapdos, and Mewtwo.)

Your Pokémon will fight one battle maximum per week, though you may not fight each week.  You will be informed of any fights you will participate in before the fight.

Before each fight, you must choose only one of your Pokémon from your Poké Portfolio and your strategy for that match.  When both Pokémon choices and strategies are received, a special program will battle the two Pokémon and determine the winner.  You will then be informed of the battle results.

As your Pokémon fights and wins, your Pokémon will gain experience and gain levels.  When certain Pokémon reach certain levels, they will evolve.
